Just a few days after the heinous gangrape of a photojournalist in Mumbai, a four-year-old girl was brutally raped in the city’s Oshiwara area, the police said on Monday.

Specially-abled woman raped in municipal hospital in Pune

The girl has been admitted to Cooper Hospital, where doctors have termed her condition as serious.

According to police, one person has been arrested in connection with the heinous crime. Details are awaited.

Mumbai gangrape: Three accused are history sheeters

Last month, a woman journalist on assignment was gangraped by five men including a juvenile. All five accused in the case have been arrested.

In Pune, a 30-year-old specially-abled woman was allegedly raped by a ward boy and a watchman of a municipal hospital in the Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Both the accused have been arrested and were produced before a local court.
