CONTESTANT PROFILE - BULGARIA
Gabriela is an economics student at university in Sofia. She likes dancing, climbing and writing poetry. She grew up in Byala Slatina and describes herself as being very motivated and ambitious. Her personal motto is 'The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams'.
INTERVIEW :
Hello all,
My name is Gabriela Vasileva or Gabi for short and I am 20 years old.
I am from Bulgaria, a beautiful country in Europe. I am very proud to be the face of my country and I will do my best to present it well at the Miss World contest. The cause I have chosen to dedicate myself is "Prevention of drug abuse among young people".
A little bit about me - I study Economics and Business in the University of National and World Economics in Sofia - the capital city of Bulgaria. Like every young person I love being with my friends, spending time with my family and my dog Bettie and doing a variety of sports - fitness, swimming and dancing.
My future hopes and plans are to graduate and succeed in the business area.
I like to say that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams!

THE GOWN :
Made from a mixture of silk, organza and Italian tulle, this marvellous gown of a pale peach colour is composed of a corset and a skirt with train. The gown is further adorned with flowers and Swarovski stones.
