Sara Chafak was raised in Finland’s capital, Helsinki. She spent her summers camping out near the lakes of her home country. Sara Chafak’s interests include singing and playing soccer, and traveling.  Currently, Sara is studying International Marketing at the Estonian Business School in the School of Economics.

   Sara Chafak (born October 25, 1990) is a Finnish beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Suomi 2012, the official representative of Finland to the 2012 Miss Universe pageant.
   

   Early life

   Sara Yasmina Chafak was born in 25.10.1990 in Helsinki, Finland. Sara was born into multicultural family; she is Half-Finnish and Half-Moroccan. Sara was 16 years old when she started her career as a model. The first years working in the beauty industry known from its competitiveness and toughness was hard, but it has given Sara the strength and knowledge to success. Sara worked years as a model, and determinedly she kept going till she started to gain more and more visibility. The first notable breach for Sara was when she was crowned the 1st Runner Up in Miss Helsinki pageant in 2011. After the Miss Helsinki pageant Sara Chafak participated in the Miss Suomi 2012 (Miss Finland 2012) pageant and was chosen unanimously by three out of three votes from the judges and also being the nation's favorite.

   A Finnish model, Sara Chafak has been crowned as Miss Suomi 2012 (Miss Finland 2012) by outgoing beauty queen Sara Sieppi (Miss Finland 2011) at the Vanajanlinna Castle located in the town of Hämeenlinna in southern Finland on Sunday evening, 29 January 2012.
   

   Miss Universe 2012

   Chafak will participate in the 61st edition of the Miss Universe pageant. She will fight to succeed outgoing titleholder, Leila Lopes from Angola.
