Though life has not always been easy, my experiences have helped me to become a confident, well rounded and loving individual. I feel that as a result I am able to be a role model for young women in Sweden and around the world.

1. Hanni loves to collect books from antique stores and has near 300 first edition copies in her collection.
2. Hanni’s dream job is to be an astronaut and be the first Swedish person to travel to the moon.

   Hanni Beronius (January 21, 1990) is a Swedish beauty queen who was crowned Miss Universe Sweden in 2012. Beronius will now represent Sweden in Miss Universe 2012 in December. Her father is Swedish and her mother was brought up in Iran by a Swedish mother and Persian father. Beronius lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. Hanni Beronius is the first Swedish contestant at Miss Universe to be of Persian descent. Hanni Beronius in 2010 filed a complaint to the police about people taking her photos and using them to create fake Facebook accounts, which led to Beronius being harassed by people via phonecalls and mobile texts messages. On 28 November, Hanni appeared as the covergirl and in an editorial on the Washington magazine the Georgetowner.
